A small group of European interoperability pioneers came together around 25 years ago to establish IHE-Europe.
Their ambition was to build a sustainable European platform for collaborative, real-world interoperability. From the outset, IHE-Europe worked to connect national initiatives, align diverse healthcare systems, and foster dialogue among vendors, clinicians, policymakers, and standards experts across the continent.
